You know the people.
There’s always that person - the one whose link comes up your RSS feed. The one you see promote themselves in a Tweet. The one who makes people say “oh man, did you read so-and-so’s post?”.
You can’t stand a word that person ever says. You think they’re egotistical, nonsensical, and an utter waste of virtual text on virtual paper. You have never agreed with a single opinion of theirs and the thought of them makes you cringe.
Yet, you click. You read their stupid posts. You follow them on Twitter anyway. You subscribe to their blog in your RSS reader. You just want to know what idiotic thing they can possibly say next.
They take themselves so seriously it makes you laugh. They think they’re important, and that makes you try to forget them.
Why do I keep clicking on their fucking links? Why won’t I learn?
