All moved!
So we’re all moved in. Still tons of unpacking to do, but for the most part we’re getting settled quickly.
I’ve only been a Banker’s Hill resident for less than a weekend, and I’m already IN LOVE. The *only* downside I’ve seen so far is the ambulence noise, as we’re on a main thoroughfare for cops and ambulences to go up to the hospital. Other than that, big freaking hearts. I have so many places I want to try out, being walking distance to the park is great. Being right across the 7-11 is great as well, for people watching and for quick trips over to buy snacks and stuff.
I LOVE IT. A way different lifestyle than Rancho Bernardo (duh!(, but it’s exactly what I wanted. I am in walking distance from:
- Balboa Park
- The zoo
- Tons of restaurants in Hillcrest
- the dog park
- Lots of coffee shops and stores
- Bike trails, museums
I’m a bike ride or short car ride from:
- The bay
- Downtown/Gaslamp
- North Park
- Morley Field
It’s fantastic. We love it :)
