So, I finally finished New Moon.  This one was slightly better than the last one - but I still can’t help feeling terribly underwhelmed. 1) I really can’t stand Bella Swan.  She is downright pitiful, self-loathing, and weak. 2) The whole “OMG Edward is going to kill himself” plotline was terribad.  Like, seriously wincingly bad. 3) Alice is my favorite character by far.  But is it just me, or is there some major femslash tension going on between Alice and Bella?  Not that Alice would stoop that low, she’s far above Bella.  But I get the feeling that Bella would straight up scissor with Alice in a heartbeat.  Amirite?
