Derby picks
Tomorrow is the Kentucky Derby, and we’re having a few friends over for a Derby watching event complete with big hats and Mint Juleps. :)
I’m putting down some cash on Hold Me Back and Chocolate Candy. Both of these horses are mid to long shots, at 15-1 and 20-1 respectively. I never find much of a point in betting on the favorites when I’m only spending $50 or so, so I’m going all in on two that will give me at least $500 if they win.
I’m also doing my annual raffle giveaway this week - which is simply a drawing. You draw the #, and if that horse wins - you win the pool. So there will be $200 up for grabs to someone lucky this year. I love the Derby!
