Birthdays and stuff.
So, a few things.
The first is that my sweetheart’s brand new MMO is launching tonight, momentarily in fact. It’s called Free Realms, and it’s a game for people of all ages. Everyone should try it out. I’m incredibly proud of my man for working until 2am for the past few weeks, and at least midnight for the past 4 months on this - he’s put so much work into it and because of that…there’s no way it won’t be good. For anyone wondering, he worked his ass off on a LOT of the game. Everything from collections, to the postman job, to quests, to the vault, itemization, in-world minigames, combat…he’s done so much for the game. I’m so happy it’s launching because it means that people will get to experience what he’s been working on, and it means that I’ll get to have him back. I miss having him around every night like crazy….and we’ve still not really ‘settled in’ at our loft yet. It sorta feels like my loft that he pays for. =P I’m not complaining TOO much….
In other news, tomorrow is my birthday. With all the craziness with Free Realms launching and my work being exceptionally busy for me right now - I don’t see much happening. But…there is some dinner festivities on Saturday night, so that should be fun.
So..for my birthday I got to go to RENT with Luke, I got an Amazon gift card from my parents, I get the Free Realms launch, and I got a promotion at work last week. I’m now a lead, so that’s great. Things are going well right now, but everything is so crazy that I hardly even remembered it was my birthday tomorrow.
Ah well, here’s to a great launch Free Realms, and an even more successful future! <3
