My Top Albums of 2009 List
I have to admit, 2009 wasn’t that great of a year for music. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t 2008, or 2007. There were some standouts this year, and that’s where I come in. Without further ado, here’s what I listened to this year in order.

My strange nausea issue...
Okay, so I’m writing this mostly for myself because it’s driving me nuts and I want to keep track of this issue.
Lately, almost 8/10 times I eat dinner, I’m getting nauseous. I have never vomited because of this, but I have to take acid pills and Pepto to prevent it. It’s to the point where I don’t like eating dinner at all. It happens occasionally at lunch (like...

Gimme back my queer card!
A few things in life really bug me. One is when people take away my “queer card” because I’m in a straight passing relationship. Queerness is in the heart and soul. Queer is a state of being. Queer is all about how I identify. I am queer, pansexual, and proud of it.
Sometimes I am almost embarrassed by my “straight privilege” that I have in my relationship. I...

Christmas is annoying me because....
I’m annoyed with Christmas right now for these reasons.
Luke has everything he could possibly want. We’re greedy selfish people who buy everything we want when we want it.
I don’t want anything either. Read #1.
It’s 70 degrees outside, so I’m not in the Christmas spirit. (I won’t complain about that one!)
Our account is joint, so even if I found...

Tonight I sung in a little a capella group that some people put together. It was so much fun to sight read and enjoy choral singing again! Hope we keep this going and do it every week :)
Afterwards, I watched the Glee finale (which was AWESOME) and the Top Chef finale (which was DISAPPOINTING because I am on Team Beard). Also tonight, I learned that McDonald’s Southwest salad dressing is...

Comedy, or lack thereof.
Tonight, I went to a bar. U31 in North Park, an interesting joint. There was an African-American on stage who in the hour we were there, told “jokes” about the following subjects:
Rape
Threesomes
Racism
Homophobia
Literally every joke, one after another, was pretty goddamn horrifying. This is comedy? Any time he referred to women, they were “bitches”. Anytime...

Brilliant!
Great weekend is great.
This weekend was really nice. Friday, Luke and I went out for some good sushi here in Hillcrest. Afterwards, we went to a movie and had romantic movie night. On Saturday, I went out to see my horse and spend time with her. Then Luke and I and our friend Caitlin went to December Nights - which is a giant free festival in San Diego’s Balboa Park. We had falafel sandwiches and then organic...
